Itinerary :

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu airport & transfer to Hotel

Day 02

Sight seeing  by private transfer in Kathmandu.

Day 03

Kathmandu to Pokhara:
Fly or drive to Pokhara (200 Km).Overnight stay at Pokhara. 

Day 04

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga: (1,577 m.):
After  45 Km drive from Pokhara via Naudanra, Kanre, and Lumle villages, the trek commences at Nayapool, from where the trail descends steeply to Birethanti. It then follows the east bank of the Bhurungdi Khola to reach Tikhedhunga. 

Day 05

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani: (2,855 m.):
The trail ascends to Ulleri village pleasantly through rhododendron forest and reaches the top of Ghorepani pass. Overnight stay at Ghorepani. 

Day 06

Ghorepani to Tadapani:
Early in the morning we trek to Poonhill where one may witness a truly memorable sunrise. From Poonhill one can view over 30 white-capped peaks, comprising the whole Annapurna range.  

Day 07

Tadapani to Chomrong:
Tadapani offers good views of the upper Modi valley. The route starts with a long ascent high above the west bank of Modi Khola. Chomrong village lies at the base of Hiunchuli (6,441 m.) 

Day 08

Chomrong to Himalaya Hotel: (2,873 m.):
The trail continues to Khuldi Ghar after about 3 hrs and from there decends very steeply to its rocky banksite before levelling out and running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge. Keeping always on the west side of the river, the pasture of Tomoe is passed. At the very neck of the gorge at Panchen Barah there is a small trail and a shrine. The trail then climbs to the Himalaya Hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 09

Himalaya Hotel to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC):
From the Himalaya Hotel it is about an hour's walk, initially on a rocky trail through forests, then up a steep ravine to Hinko at 2,960 m. The trail crosses a ravine and a major avalanche track just beyond Hinko, after which it climbs through large boulders. Approximately half an hour beyond Hinko is Deurali at 3,000 m. Here, as the trail continues into the sanctuary, it crosses two wide avalanche tracks via a narrow trail that huddles up against the cliffs. The trail then descends to meet the Modi Khola and follows the river to Bagar. From Bagar we climb across more avalanche paths, crossing a moraine and a stream before climbing towards an area known as Machhapchhre Base Camp (MBC) at an elevation of 3,480 m. Overnight stay here.
One can have panoramic views of Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna and Machhapuchhre (6997m.) from this location. 

Day 10

MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) & back to MBC or Deurali:
It is about a 2 hr climb up to Annapurna base camp (elevation 3900m.). The route passes a few roofless shepherds' huts along the side of a moraine. The area is cold and windy and is often snowbound. After lunch, it's back to MBC for another overnight stay. 

Day 11

MBC/Deurali to Bamboo:
Descend via the same route to the Himalaya Hotel. 

Day 12

Bamboo to Chomrong:
Follow the same trail to Chomrong for overnight stay. 

Day 13

Chomrong to Ghandruk:
Follow the route back at Taglung, at the junction of the trail from Landrung and New Bridge. We stay on the wide main trail, walking west above the potato and wheat fields of Taglung before descending gently through forests. The trail then drops steeply on switchbacks to Kimrong village, situated above the Khumnu Khola at 1,720m. After crossing the suspension bridge at Khumnu Khola or Kimrong village, the trail makes a steep climb to teahouses at Uri situated on a pass at 2200m. The trail descends gently to Ghandruk village (1940m.) for an overnight stay.  

Day 14

Ghandruk to Pothana
Descend through the paved courtyards of Ghandruk village past several teahouses. After crossing a stream on a suspension bridge the trail emerges into the main Modi Khola valley and reaches Tolkha, a small settlement at 1,710m. 

Day 15

Dhampus to Pokhara:
Continue a few hundred metres along a trail to the road that descends to a taxi stand. Take a taxi, jeep or bus from Phedi and back to Pokhara. 

Day 16

Drive or fly to Kathmandu.
