Day 01 |
Kathmandu to Lukla (2380m) and
Phakding: (2652m):
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and camp at Phakding after
approximately 3 hrs walk. The trail tops a small ridge, from
where it descends so Surkhe (2340m) and passes below to
Chaurikharka. The fields passed through support crops of
corn, potatoes, wheat and cabbage and the Sherpas of this
area are generally better off than those living at Namche.

Day 02 |
Phakding to Namche: (3446m):
A beautiful day of approximately 5hrs walking which passes
through magnificient rhododentron, magnolia and fir forest.
Several villages provide welcome teashops. Views of the
peaks increase and improve until finally reaching Namche
after a long pull over a ridge. Namche is the main Sherpa
village. Have a rest in the afternoon and enjoy walking
around the village. |

Day 03 |
Rest at Namche Bazaar:
This is the rest day for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

Day 04 |
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche: (3867m):
After breakfast the trek will lead to Fungi Thenga for
lunch. After lunch ascend another 2 hrs to reach Tengboche
and pay a visit to the Monastery with the guide. |

Day 05 |
Tengboche to Pheirche: (4252m):
This is the day to view and enjoy the
magnificient scenary of Everest (8848), Nuptse
(7879m), Lothse (8516m), Kantega (6809m) and,
most beautiful of all, Ama Dablam (6856m).

Day 06 |
Pheriche Rest day: |

Day 07 |
Pheriche to Lobuche: (4930m):
At the beginning of the day climb a small ridge contour to
Dugla (4600m) before climbing the moraines of Lobuche, with
the best view of high mountains including Mt. Everest.

Day 08 |
Lobuche to Gorakshape: (5151m):
This trail gives a good view of Pumori. This section of the
trek provides good views of Everest from Gorakshep and
Kalapathar. |

Day 09 |
Rest at Kalapathar |

Day 10 |
Lobuche to Dingboche |
|
Day 11 |
Dingboche to Tengboche |
|
Day 12 |
Tengboche to Namche Bazaar |

Day 13 |
Namche Bazaar to Luka: |

Lukla to Kathmandu by flight: |
